On this day people go to their relative's house and girls likes to meet their friends and boys are out to see the whole process of slaughtering of their animal so its quite a great feeling for all of us. When everything is done we get ready to go in some parties and are ready to invite some guests in our house too. Even In other countries people celebrate this occasion very nicely.

On this blessed occasion animals like cow camel goat and sheep are slaughtered in order to refresh the famous incident of Hazrat Ibrahim and his son Hazrat Ismail. People start to prepare for this event right after the end of Shawwal month. In cattle market animals are being taken care in a well mannered way. They are being fed with butter, milk, and good quality of grass. They are given bath on daily basis, on other hand they are decorated with different kind of things.
